Videos I Find Helpful

Sustainable

A documentary about soil and the farming system in America today. Healthy soils are full of life! You can find it on Amazon or Netflix!

Forks Over Knives

A documentary that focuses on the extremely beneficial advantages of eating a plant based diet- really got me thinking. The official trailer gives a good picture of what the movie covers. It is $3.99 to watch on youtube. Also found on Netlfix.

I also find the FOK website to be a crucial part of my research as they get more specific into the "China Study" and what it found. I think many health issues in America could be fixed by following the advice of these nutritionists, doctors, and scientists. I highly recommend checking out the website.

Food Inc.

"Food Inc." was the first one I saw that started me on this chain of health. It costs $2.99 to watch the full movie on Youtube, but it is worth every cent! Check out the trailer.

This movie changed my life! It started a chain reaction that still continues to motivate me to self educate about good food! I show it to my art students at least once a year and I design art lessons around the information. It is a MUST WATCH!

Gerson Vitamin Therapy

I am in love with Charlotte Gerson! She is the coolest lady I ever listened to and she's a genius. Check out this interview and find out how the Gerson family proved that detoxifying your body and eating a purely organic vegetarian diet can cure cancer!

This film that got me up and moving to Polyface Farms in Swoope, VA. I recommend watching the entire film. "The story of a mom whose son healed from all allergies and asthma after consuming raw milk, and real food from farms. It depicts people all over the country who formed food co-ops and private clubs to get these foods, and how they were raided by state and local governments."
Joel Salatin appears in the film and he knows what he's talking about! Currently I am reading his book, "Folks, This Ain't Normal" I can't put the book down!

Fed Up

"By 2050, 1/3 people in America will have diabetes"
Want to hear more? Watch the trailer for for FED UP
(full length movie can be found on Netflix and Hulu).

GMOs?

"GMO OMG director and concerned father Jeremy Seifert is in search of answers. How do GMOs affect our children, the health of our planet, and our freedom of choice? And perhaps the ultimate question, which Seifert tests himself: is it even possible to reject the food system currently in place, or have we lost something we can’t gain back? These and other questions take Seifert on a journey from his family’s table to Haiti, Paris, Norway, and the lobby of agra-giant Monsanto, from which he is unceremoniously ejected. Along the way we gain insight into a question that is of growing concern to citizens the world over: what's on your plate? - See more at: http://www.gmofilm.com/#sthash.JSe91mQW.dpuf"
